Here are the types of content that you should avoid at all costs or improve if you currently are making these content mistakes:

1. Stale website content

Not updating your content on our website or blog is a mega SEO mistake. You want to have fresh content that is updated frequently for the benefit of your SEO strategy as well as your site readers and potential customers! When they see you have new content they will be drawn to your website and will enjoy seeing you have expertise in your industry and are staying up to date. Also, search engine bots will be sent to your website each time you update your content which can greatly improve your website’s ranking.

2. Content that not user-friendly

If your content is hard to read (example: one endless block of text) or so filled with SEO keywords and links that it becomes un-readable to viewers, you need to adjust this immediately. While you want to appeal to search engines, you need to remember to appeal to readers first. Make sure your keyword density is not too heavy and that your sentence structures make sense. Also use paragraphs and images to appeal to users and make your content more desirable to read.

3. Content that is not relevant to your business

Your website and content should always be able to relate back to your business or industry. Having content that is not relevant to these factors will confuse your readers and put up a red flag for search engine robots. Feel free to be creative with your blog posts or website content, but make sure it in some way makes sense with what you do as a business.

How to Review Performance Data in AdWords

Once you begin an AdWords campaign, you will want to start tracking your data to see how your campaign is performing. Different tabs on Adwords will display various data results, so it is important to have knowledge of what tab can show you about your data. Here is our overview on how to track your performance on Adwords broken down into the tabs where the data is displayed for your review:

1. Campaigns Tab

The first place you should look to analyze your AdWords performance is the Campaigns tab. On your campaigns tab you can view information on your ad clicks, impressions, and click through ratio. Add these columns that you are interested in viewing the data for to your statistics table so this data will always be displayed.

2. Ad Groups tab

The ad groups tab will give you insight on how individual ad groups are doing. Analyze this information to gage how you can improve your ad groups for each ad, or for campaigns in the future.

3. Ads tab

The Ads tab allows you to view individual data about each specific ad in your ad groups. Within this tab you can also compare your ads to see which ones are performing the best. If you have any ads that you need to edit you can do so within this ad, as well as pause or delete them if you feel they aren’t currently performing the way you would like them to

SEO News: Bing Webmaster Tools Improved with Site Move Tool

Bing has rolled out a new tool on their Webmaster Tools platform. This tools allows users to inform Bing that you have moved your website which allows for easier transition. The tools enables you to let Bing know if your entire domain has changed, or even if only individual URLs within your website have changed.

Here is a breakdown of the improvements and how you can communicate with Bing on your site move:

Scenario #1: Moving URLs within Your Domain:

If you are redirecting some of your pages within your website this new tool allows you to notify Bing of any big changes. This can be very useful if you have restructured or redesigned your website and are sending URLs to new locations. By being able to easily notify Bing, they will be able to process these changes as soon as possible which is beneficial to your search engine optimization.

Scenario #2: Moving Your Website to a New Domain

If you have changed your domain and are moving your website over this tool is a simple way to notify Bing of these changes right away. Make sure the domain you are moving to is also verified with Bing Webmaster Tools to allow for seamless transitioning. The three levels that are allowed within Bing Webmaster tools are a move from domain, subdomain, and directory. This is an improvement compared to Google Webmaster tools which only allows for a change from one domain to another. The Bing upgrade gives web publishers additional flexibility and these tools can aid in your search engine optimization efforts.

SEO Checklist: Low Priority Tasks

As a follow up from our previous posts on high priority and medium priority SEO tasks, the final thing to add to your SEO checklist is your low priority tasks. Once you have completed everything else on your SEO checklist, review this list of SEO tasks that are of lower importance, but still can help you achieve higher search engine rankings.

Here is our SEO Company list of low priority tasks for your SEO campaign:

- Optimize your website for a limited number of secondary keywords that you would like to achieve rankings for, but they aren’t as pivotal as your primary keywords.
- Try using a few different forms of your keyword in keyword phrases.
- Ensure you are not linking too much to external websites, if at all. You want to keep your links internal to your own site and not driving traffic to other WebPages. If you do have to link to another site, try to ensure that the link is a “nofollow” link.
- Separate your words and keywords in your URL by using the hyphen symbol.
- On your pages make sure the content is short and precise. You don’t want pages with never ending content that readers are less likely to read. Keep it to the point or with each page focused on one subject that targets a certain keyword phrase.
- If you have any sound files on your website, always include a text transcript of the file in case it is broken.
- Use your keyword phrase in your meta description and meta keywords tag on all pages.
- Consider using a few synonyms for you keyword phrase in the content so the keyword appears less obvious with repetition but you still stay on target of the subject you would like to rank for.
- If you need to use Java, carefully consider this and ensure you are using it correctly and with care.

SEO Checklist: Medium Priority Tasks

As we discussed in our last post, “Using a SEO Checklist: High Priority Items”, having a SEO checklist is a great way to keep your SEO tasks organized and ensure that they get done according to their importance. After you have completed all of your high priority tasks, use a medium priority task list to know what should be done next. While medium priority tasks aren’t as urgent as your high priority tasks, they are still extremely beneficial to your search engine rankings and will help your business achieve higher visibility online.

Here is our SEO Company list of search engine optimization tasks that are of medium importance:

- Create an XML Sitemap for your website. This helps search engine bots follow the links on your website as well as site visitors see pages they might not have found otherwise.

- Add your keywords or keyword phrases in your alternative text or “alt tags”. These are what shows when the mouse hovers over an image.

- Create lots of ongoing content on your website. This may include a Company blog, company news, or always being sure to update your Company information and services.

- Gain inbound links from other websites. If possible, these should be quality links from highly visited websites, forums, blogs or other industry leaders. Making sure the inbound links are of high quality will keep you from getting in trouble with the search engines.

- Make your keyword phrases stand out by bolding them. This tasctic should be used in moderation but is ok as long as it looks natural and isn’t too obvious to the site visitor because you are bolding words in every sentence.

- Use inner-site linking tactics. This means linking to other pages on your website through your content. For example, if in a blog post our Company is speaking about website design, it would make sense for us to link to the page on our website that has our website design services so the visitor can have easy access to that information.

- Use 301 Redirects to re-route site visitors away from pages that are broken or no longer exist. Search engines like to see this and it also makes for a friendlier user experience for the site visitor.

Best Practices on Communicating with Your Fans on Facebook

What businesses often forget when using Facebook, is that it is a two way street between you and your fans and should be looked at as a conversation agent. This means that it isn’t just an outlet for your to speak, but also a way for you to directly communicate with your Fans. If you utilize Facebook properly, you can provide your fans with a positive experience that want that makes them feel good about your brand. If you do it well enough, they may even become “brand ambassadors” for you and communicate to others the benefits of your brand.

Here are some basic tips on how to properly use Facebook to communicate with your fans:

1. Remember That a Conversation Takes Two

Many brands see people liking their page and posts but leave it at that. While this is a very positive thing, you need to remember to also interact BACK with your fan. If they make a comment on a post, always be sure to answer. Even if the comment is not a question, write them back to show that you have heard them and appreciate their response! Try to add value to your post by also providing them further information such as a link to a blog post you have wrote on their post subject, or a page on your website that could help them. Besides the obvious benefits of gaining loyalty with a potential customer, there is also the benefit that these interactions will be recorded and has potential to show up on newsfeeds which means more exposure.

2. Remembers That it’s Not Just About Sales

While we all want to see more sales because of our online efforts, social media is more about brand management. Try to not solely advertise yourself in your posts, but in addition post things that are relevant to your industry as a whole. This will allow for more post variety and shows you are an expert in your industry that is up to date with the latest news. Try to share information that is useful to your fans and relevant. If you are only advertising your brand you risk the chance of your fans feeling solicited and blocking your posts or even un-liking your page.

Adwords Glossary: Part II

Getting started on Adwords can be confusing if you don’t understand the vocabulary they use. Building on our “Beginner Adwords Glossary” post, here are additional Adwords terms and their definitions to help educate you on Adwords and get you started with your campaign.

Impressions: Your impressions are defined by how often your ad is displayed to users. Each time your ad is displayed on a search engine results page this counts as an impression. This is sometimes shown as “Impr” on your AdWords account and this will show the total number of impressions for a particular ad.

Maximum CPC bid: Standing for maximum cost-per-click bid, this is a bid that you set on your account to determine the highest possible amount that you are willing to pay for a single click to your ad. This bid ensures that if your ad is clicked by a user, that the click will never cost you more than this amount you set. Generally, the higher you set this bid, the more likely your ad will be shown in a higher ad position on a search engine results page. Of course, you will not always be paying the max CPC. The actual amount you pay when your ad is clicked is called the “Actual CPC” and can be found in the “Avg. CPC” column on your account. AdWords allows you to choose either manual bidding or automatic bidding. With manual bidding you chose your own bid amounts and set a single max CPC bid for your whole ad group, whereas automatic bidding lets Google chose bids that work within your budget.

Quality Score: Your quality score is Google’s way of determining how relevant your ads, keywords, and landing page is to any user who sees your ad. If you have a high quality score, this can help you obtain a better ad position and even lower prices. To view your keywords quality scores, view the “Keyword Analysis” area in your account.

Java Releases an Update to Fix Security Issues

In January, the web went into a panic after the announcement that there was a Java security breach that could be affecting over 850 million computers. This security flaw allowed hackers to take advantage of susceptible PC, Mac, and Linux computers. Java was found to have 50 bugs with over half of these bugs having the ability to be exploited maliciously. To protect users, security experts including Homeland Security prompted Java users to uninstall disable the program immediately.

However as of Friday, we can all now breathe a sigh of relief. Oracle, the creator of Java, has released a new version of Java ahead of schedule to address these security issues and protect users against attacks. While the fix was not to be released until February 19, Oracle decided to provide security ahead of schedule as they could see the flaws being actively exploited.

Here are the steps you should take to take advantage of this security patch and ensure your computer is protected:

1. If you are still running Java on your computer, you should be prompted that an update has become available. Take action to upgrade your Java as soon as possible.

2. If you have not received any notice from Java, the version can be installed manually on the Java product page here: java.com/en/

3. After installing the updated Java, verify that you are in fact using the latest version of Java through the verification page found here: java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

As an Internet Marketing Company, we hope you all take advantage of this security patch as soon as possible to make sure you aren’t vulnerable to any malicious attacks.

Web Full Circle is Seeking New Talent for our Internet Marketing Team!

Website Design and Internet Marketing Company, Web Full Circle Inc. is seeking a SEO and Marketing team member to assist the Internet Marketing team in managing customer’s marketing campaigns. The team member would be tasked to build awareness of customer’s brands through Internet Marketing platforms such as Search Engines, Social Platforms, and other online properties.

As a SEO Company we know to stay on top of all these changes and make sure our strategies are in line with current trends and advances in internet marketing. Here are our top strategies to follow in 2013 to ensure that you will gain the visibility, traffic and conversions you need to succeed in the New Year:

1. Optimize Your Website Using Best Practices

Making sure your website is optimized to the best of its ability is the first important step in ensuring you thrive online in 2013. Making your website “SEO friendly” will naturally boost your rankings and allow both search engines and potential customers to see that your website is relevant to their needs. See our post “Best Practices to SEO Your Website Content” to learn how to write SEO friendly content for your website.

2. Take Advantage of Social Media

As we all know, social media is a powerful tool to use in order to create a strong brand and presence for your business online. It is also the best way to directly communicate with potential customers and use their feedback to improve your business. Read our post on how to “SEO Your Social Media Pages” in order to learn how to effectively use social media to your best advantage in the upcoming year.

3. Implement Local Pages

SEO local tactics are imperative to ensure your business has an effective reach. Use map listings and local directories to extend your reach and allow customers to find your business. See our post on “How to Use Google+ Local to Boost Search Visibility and Gain New Customers” for tactics on how to take advantage of a local profile. Use these same tactics on other local directories as well to make sure your potential customers are finding you and not your competitors.

Using Google+ Local to Boost Search Visibility and Gain New Customers

As a SEO Company, we know that Google+ Local is very handy tool for small businesses, yet many people haven’t taken advantage of the platform. Google+ can be a haven for the small business owner as it combines many of the things that customers look for on the web. A social network, customer reviews, and a local search engine. Here’s how you can use this platform to your own benefit to gain both visibility and new customers.

Using Google+ Local for Google Search:

Being visible in local search is imperative as almost all consumers are searching online to find businesses in their area. By taking advantage of Google+ Local, you are making it that much more likely that the searcher will find you.

The first way that the consumer can find you is through Google’s own search engine. If Google can identify that the searcher has need for a local listing through their keyword phrasing, they then will include Google+ Local pages in the results. These local results will be shown towards the top of the results page allowing you to gain a much higher visibility and compete with other websites listed through the universal search.

Using Google+ Local’s Own Search Engine:

The second way that you can boost your local search visibility with Google+ Local is through the platform’s own search tool. If customers are already surfing through Google+ Local pages, they can use this search within the platform in order to find local businesses. The great value to this is that you will only be competing with other local pages, and not all of the results shown in the universal search. This eliminates PPC ads, and other webpages from your competition and allows the searcher to only focus on local businesses.

Make Your Google+ Local Profile Stand Out:

Now that you are more visible, you need to ensure that the potential customer doesn’t bounce off your Google+ Local page. Be sure to make your page informative about your business and interesting to the viewer. To do this you must fill out all the fields with details about your business and leave nothing incomplete. This includes adding a short bio, business hours, website, contact information, business address, photographs and videos. Also encourage your customers and “fans” to leave positive reviews about your business on Google+ Local in order to catch the eye of potential customers. If your page is fully completed and looks appealing, you will rank higher than other Google+ Local pages that are your competition.

Getting Started on Adwords: 3 Basic Steps

In our last Adwords post we provided a “Basic Adwords Glossary” to help you better understand the Adwords world and thus be more successful in your internet marketing with Adwords. Now that you know the language, it’s time for you to try it out yourself! Here are 3 basic steps to follow to get started with Google’s internet marketing program:

1. Create Your Account

The first obvious step is to create an Adwords account for yourself. To do this visit: adwords.google.com and select the red “Start Now” button in the top right corner. From here, you will enter the email address you would like associated with the account and a secure password. In addition you will need to choose your time zone, and currency you do business in. By entering this information, you’ve already completed step one and are ready to create your campaign!

2. Create an Ad Campaign

After you have successfully entered your account information and confirmed your email address, you will be directed to the page where you can begin to create your very first ad. This is where you can get imaginative and select many different options to benefit your ad. Here is an overview of some of these selections you will need to make:

Where will your ad appear? This is where you will select what in what locations your ad will appear in. This can include websites, devices (smartphones, tablets, or computers), and varying languages that you would like your ad to be displayed in. If you aren’t sure about these decisions just yet, you can chose the default settings and re-visit these questions later.

What will your budget be? Make a decision on the amount your willing to pay each time your ad is clicked. Once you set a budget, chose the maximum amount you would want to spend on a daily basis.

What will your ad say? Create your ad copy by writing a brief headline and description. For example, if you own a Charlotte cupcake shop your headline could be: “Queen City Cupcakes” and your description could say: “Gourmet cupcakes for any occasion. Catering and local delivery available.”

What Keywords are you targeting? Your keywords are the words or phrases that your ad will display for when a user searches for them on Google. Going with the example above, if someone searches for “cupcakes in Charlotte” or “cupcake restaurant Charlotte”, your ad would display as well as your business website URL. To begin with, you should select around 10-15 keywords. You can come back and edit these, or add to the list later if you find more keywords that would be beneficial to your ad.

3. Activate Your Account

Finally after selecting the options above, you are ready to activate your account! In order to do this you must enter basic billing information so your ad can begin to run. Don’t fret about this though. At any point in time you can edit, pause, or cancel your ad. Also, this would be the time to enter in an Adwords coupon if you have one. Coupons are great for beginners as they will allow you to test out Adwords before spending too much of your own money.

Once you enter this information, your ads should start appearing. Check back to your account within the first 3 hours to start to see your data compile under your “Campaigns” tab.

As an Internet Marketing Company we are devoted to helping you with online advertising. Apple v. Samsung, Debunking the $1 Billion in Nickels Report

A few weeks ago, Apple waved their victory flags high after winning a pivotal lawsuit against Samsung. It was decided that Samsung had violated many of Apple’s patents that were related to the software and design of their mobile devices. In result, Apple was awarded a whopping $1 billion in damages. While this fine will not exactly break the bank for Samsung (since they are one of the world’s largest electronic companies) the decision is vital in that future smart phones may see re-designs in order to make their products look less “Apple- esque”.

Following this news the internet marketing world blew up with another story. An amusing report gave Samsung the last laugh in the matter, despite having to pay up. It was reported that after this decision, Samsung sent over 30 trucks to the Apple headquarters. While Apple security guards were confused and claimed the trucks must be in the wrong place- the smug and witty Samsung CEO called Apple’s CEO Tim Cook to assure him that the trucks were indeed for Apple. Samsung was paying up on their fine, but because the signed document didn’t specify the matter of payment, Samsung was allowed to pay in the way they deemed best. The trucks contained the $1 billion, but instead of in bills it was being delivered all in nickels. These reports detailed snarky comments made by the Samsung chairman Lee Kun-hee including that he would not be intimidated by a group of “geeks with style” and that if Apple wanted to play dirty, then they would play dirty too.

But alas, while these reports brought three cheers for the underdogs from smartphone owners around the world, it seems it is in truth a hoax. As funny and witty as it would have been, the report has lots of holes. Let’s de-bunk.

First of all, to carry $1 billion in nickels, 30 trucks just would not suffice. As a nickel weighs 5g, it would actually take 2,755 18-wheeler trucks to deliver the over 20 billion in coins. Also, according to law, if the money was delivered in this way, as a private company Apple would have the right to refuse this payment. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely that this many nickels in circulation anyways- and how would Samsung get their hands on them all even if there were? Finally, along with trumping this report for its impossibility, there is the simple fact that the fine is not yet payable. The judge has not yet ruled in the case, and the $1 billion fine was only the jury’s verdict.

So, while some of us hoped to see Apple counting nickels for the next few years, that unfortunately just isn’t going to happen. Maybe next time guys!

What do you think about this hoax?

Google’s Latest Algorithm Update Penalizes Pirated Content

As an Internet Marketing Company, it’s our duty to report that Google has unleashed yet another algorithm update. This update will join forces with past penalties such as “Panda” and “Penguin”. While this one remains un-named, it is still a significant update that could affect your website’s search rankings.

Google created this new signal to work against websites with pirated material. If a website receives a substantial amount of “removal notices” for pirated content, the website will appear lower in Google’s search results.

Google has been working diligently against those who use copyrighted material and have now taken their actions a step further by measuring the number of DMCA “takedown requests” a site receives and using that against you in the SERP’s. In doing so, Google hopes users will be able to more easily find content sources that are legitimate. In order to be as transparent as possible, Google has provided a chart that shows the domains that have currently received the most Copyright Removal Requests:

While your site may drop in rankings, to actually have a page removed from search results Google needs to receive “a valid copyright removal notice from the rights owner” as Google alone cannot determine if a website actually violated copyright law.

If you think your content has been wrongly reported or removed, Google has also provided tools to counteract the claim so you can attempt to have your content restored. Make sure you review any notices or warnings you receive from Google and take them seriously, as Google is continuously updating their algorithms and developing new signals that could negatively affect your website’s search rankings.

Beginner's AdWords Glossary

If you are interested in getting started on AdWords, it’s important you first understand the language. AdWords has many terms that without proper knowledge, might leave you scratching your head a bit. Here is our glossary of basic AdWords terms to help you understand the AdWords world better, and thus be successful quicker:

1. Ad group: An Ad group is a way of organizing your AdWords account. Each Ad group is composed of ads, keywords, placements, or any other specific method of targeting. It is important to create individual Ad groups for specific themes. For example, if you specialize in “home repair” you can have an Ad group just for your specialty of “roofing” and another Ad group for “plumbing”. Or similarly, if you offer products, separate each Ad group into product categories. For example a baker could create Ad groups for “wedding cakes” and “birthday cakes”. Once you have created a targeted Ad group, the ad content and keywords the Ad group should be related to the topic of your Ad group.

2. Campaign: The parent of an Ad group is a “campaign”. A campaign consists of one more ad groups. These ad groups within the campaign will all share the same budget, locations to target, language, distribution settings in Google, among other settings. A campaign is another way to organize your ads into categories. If you offer the service of “roofing” you may create a roofing campaign that is composed of ad groups that relate to each specific kind of roofing material you offer. Different campaigns can display ads in different targeted locations, or can even use different budgeting tactics.

3. Click: When you receive a click, it means that a user has seen your ad and interacted with it by clicking it. When a click occurs is when your account with be charged. A user generally clicks on your ad because it was enticing to them and they want to learn more about what you have to offer. The number of clicks your ad gets helps you comprehend how appealing your ad is to others and if it is relating to the needs of those searching for something. If your ad is relevant, and highly targeted to a specific customer, it is more likely that your ad will gain more clicks. Your clickthrough rates (CTRs) can be viewed in your account statistics and will measure a percentage of how many times a user clicks your ads.

4 . Landing page: A landing page is the website customers are directed to once they click your ad. This can also be considered your “destination URL”. It is important that your landing page is relevant and useful to the user, to ensure they stay on your website and don’t just bounce off it. You also have the opportunity to set a “display URL“. This is simply website is displayed in your add, and can be differing from the actual destination URL. You may chose to use a different display URL to shorten your URL or utilize a relevant keyword that may not be in the actual destination URL of your webpage.

Monthly Tip: SEO Your LinkedIn Profile

LinkedIn is an extremely powerful social media platform with as many as 50 million users. Because LinkedIn is a business networking platform, the people who use LinkedIn are high quality individuals who are often searching for what YOU have to offer! When people are searching for your industry, or specialty on LinkedIn, it’s important that your profile will be on the top of the search results and not lost in the mix. By ranking over others for a specific key term, you can be seen as a credible source in your industry. Read our tips on how to SEO your LinkedIn profile so you can be found by the people who matter.

Choose Your Keywords:

In LinkedIn, others will find your profile through the “people search” function. Pick one or two key terms that you would like to rank well for. Think of something that is related to your industry, or that you are specialized in. For example, one of our Web Full Circle team members may want to rank well for “social media”, “search engine optimization”, or “website design” as these are areas we specialize in. Make sure the term you decide for yourself is in fact something that you believe you excel in. Doing this ensures that when others find your profile they can clearly see through your experiences why you are a quality candidate that represents this keyword.

Where to Place Your Keyword:

1. Headline

The headline is the very first thing seen when others view your LinkedIn profile. This area is used to sum up your professional identity in a short phrase. Often users put their current job title or their area of specialty if they are looking for employment. Placing your desired keyword here is essential as the headline is the most relevant area of your profile that displays just what you are an expert in.

2. Current Work Experience

This is an extremely relevant area to add your keyword to as it is what you are currently doing business in. The same goes for if you are currently looking for a job opportunity, be sure your keyword reflects the industry you would like to be working in.

3. Past Work Experience

It is helpful to include your keyword in your past work experience as this shows viewers that you are experienced in this industry.

4. Summary

The Summary section is your area to express your professional experience and goals. Think of it as the soapbox you stand on to tell everyone what you have done, what you are doing, and the kinds of things you are interested in for the future. When adding your keyword to this section, make sure it looks clean and fits neatly into your sentences. You don’t want to inject the keyword repetitively without it making sense. Fashion your summary in a way that is to the point, and lets others know why you are an expert in regards to this keyword.

5. Specialties

This section is meant for you to mention particular skills or experiences you consider your professional specialties. Include your main keyword in this area among other relevant keywords that will showcase what you are skilled in through precise phrases.

Ready to Stand Out on LinkedIn?

Using this approach your LinkedIn profile should be fully optimized to ensure you are much more likely to be seen in the LinkedIn people search results. Your profile is similar to a webpage, in that what is shown at the top is the most important and the further you continue down, the less significant the information is. Your keywords should be most visible at the top of your page and then the terms should continue to trickle down into the rest of your profile.

LinkedIn is an incredible tool to help you personally brand yourself, and extend your reach within your industry. Optimizing your profile for specific keywords will allow you to further connect and network with industry leaders. Don’t miss out on the opportunity of being seen.

How to Use SEO for your Twitter Profile

While Twitter doesn’t allow an excess of SEO, there are still some important elements you can utilize for SEO value when creating your profile.

SEO Title: Your Twitter Username

On Twitter your username works for SEO purposes as title tags. Your user name is what you will see after the “@” symbol. Edit your username under “settings”. If a keyword you would like to use is still available, you may want to consider using it in your Twitter username for added value.

Profile Image: Filename and ALT Tag

When uploading your profile photo, make sure to optimize it by using your keyword or username as the filename. Twitter will automatically use this file name for the ALT tag of your profile image as well.

Bio: Use of Keywords

Use keywords when appropriate in your Twitter bio. Certain Twitter search engines use these keywords to pull your name up when people are looking for your industry or interest you utilize as a keyword. Never leave your Twitter bio blank as this is not only great for search purposes, but also for connecting to other users similar to you. Use the 160 allotted characters to tell what your industry is about.

Twitter URL:

While Twitter uses the nofollow attribute, still include your website link in your Twitter bio so new followers will know where to find your website. You won’t get any link juice from it, but it will add to increased website exposure and traffic.

Background Image:

While it’s easy to just depend on the default Twitter background, this is yet another area you can utilize for branding and SEO purposes. Create a background design that shows who you are by mirroring your websites design, or signature colors. Also, it’s important to add your company website as a call to action. Twitter can be tricky with backgrounds, but if you can format it to look right, feel free to also include your logo, tagline and even phone number.

Tweets: Content and Use of Keywords

Write tweets that are interesting, and relevant to your industry. This will increase the likelihood of your tweet being “Re-tweeted” by others and therefore will increase your exposure. More people will be brought to your Twitter page, which then also allows the opportunity for increased website traffic as well.

While it’s a big Twitter faux pas to write “spammy” tweets, use your keyword in your tweet when it is appropriate and looks right. Add the “#” to your keyword to allow Twitter users who are searching for this keyword, to find your tweet.

Web Full Circle Sponsors Tree for 2011 Festival of Trees

Internet Marketing and Website Design Company, Web Full Circle is a tree sponsor for the 2011 Festival of Trees held by The Arc of Mecklenburg County. We continually strive to make our work place a comfortable, fun and collaborative atmosphere for our team and are honored to be finalists for this award.

Web Full Circle is dedicated to giving our team of internet marketers, website designers, and I.T. specialists the best possible life as a whole. We participate in many team events where we can enjoy each others company outside of the workplace. These have included a trip to the National Whitewater center, Paintball outings, BBQs, and team dinners. In-office there is always a celebration going on whether it’s for a team member’s birthday, a holiday party or just honoring a team success.

We will be attending a luncheon on November 4th hosted by the Charlotte Business Journal to honor our selection as one of Charlotte’s “Best Places to Work”. We also produced a video to share with others just why this is a great place to work. Watch our video above and let us know what you think!
